Animal Abuse.?

Why do people have to be so cruel to animals? I am watching Miami Animal Police on Animal Planet, and this show makes me cry.
Why are there so many animal abusers in the world?
How could they torture cute little animals?
Why are people so cruel??
Ugh I want to throw all of those animal abusers in jail FOREVER. :(

I agree, it's one of my favorite shows actually and I to have cried while watching it. It's very upsetting. Although, that's the only animal planet show I watch anymore since the animal abuse incident with the guinea pigs on pet star. It's a very sad story and I feel extremely bad for the piggies who starred on it, they were abused. The girls were making them "sing" with them. What they were really doing is they were squeezing thier bellys whenever they said pig, so they would squeal in pain. The judges thought they were happy squeals, but when my piggies heard it they ran and hid thinking something was going to get them =[. They would squeeze them and pull thier hair and puch thier rumps up tworads thier heads, yet animal planet still hasn't made thier apology fior that. It sickens me, what people do to animals, especially all the children who are now making thier guinea pigs "sing", and really hurting them, it was the sound a guinea pig makes as a last resort, they don't want to make that sound. It was really upsetting, I hate animal abuse, especially the kind that was displayed on pet star, a show I used to love. Animal abusers should go to jail forever, but these girls were repayed with laughter and claps, while thier guineapigs eyes were bugging out from terror,

ME! I hate when peopel abuse animals! They don't have a choice to choose who they go with, they can't runaway and call for help like people. I can't watch that show anymore because it makes me so upset. I watched this one movie once called "Dealing Dogs." It was a documentary about this one guy probably in his early 20s who goes undercover as a person who works there to get the place shut down. They were dipping the dogs in disinfectant for baths that burned like heck, hit them, kicked the, were extremely cruel to them! The guy got it all on camera and it took 3 YEARS to get the place shut down!!! 3 Years!! You can get a huge fine if you kick a dog on the street and get the dog taken away for you, but that place that did that every day didn't get shut down for 3 more years! I was so sad and extremely angry when I watched that! I was holding back my tears and throwing pillows at the tv! All I wanted to do was hold my dogs but they were at my other house. I report every case of animal abuse and won't use animal tested products. If you want to read a really touching tale, try Children of the Earth... Remember. It is by Schim Schimmel and talks about how people and aniamls used to be family, but their relationship grew further and further apart until the people forgot. People abuse animals like they are eating chocolates, not putting innocent animals through tortue and pain! How can people abuse their animals when they are others children? I could go on, and on!
So please, help animals when you can!!!! :)

I agree whole heartily with you. If the law would make it a capital crime instead of animal husbandry( weird word but it is it) then some of these creeps would go to jail instead of a slap on the wrist, ya some do get fines but they just laugh it off. Also, they should be banned from ever having another pet of any sort. Everyone should get together and write their governor that it should be a harsher punishment, if you do the crime I say you should do the time. I watch animal planet allot too and what I see makes me sick sometimes. I curse them out every time.
