I hate that animals have to be tested on, but I feel that it is for the best to help fight disease processes in humans. But I have a question, does anyone know for a fact how these animals in the testing labs are treated? Do testing labs have anyone who just loves on the animals?

There are things in this life that are not fair. Animal testing is one of them. I am also concerned about those who are employed to care for the animals that are used in tests. I imagine they start this job wanting to be as kind as possible but become calloused to the pain and suffering they see as a mechanism to survive what they have to do because they have bills to pay and family that depends on them for food, shelter, etc. God help any sensitive person that gets stuck in this job as it kills your soul. I would feel safe in saying that NO, there is no one in the lab there for the main purpose of loving on the animals. Some of them become vicious as the pain becomes more unbearable and would pose a threat to human health with some of the diseases they are purposely infected with. We live in an imperfect, sometimes cruel world, and the sooner you can face that fact and learn to live with it, the better. I mainly have a problem with animal testing when it used for developing cosmetic products, (hair dye, makeup, skin creams, etc.) These things have nothing to do with health, just appearance and vanity.
alright listen i know that it sounds cruel but would you rather have them do their testing in the market so that when you take a medicine it kills you and millions of other people but at least they didnt do anything to animals. i dont thihnk so they cant have remorse for the animlas otherwise the people wouldnt be able to do the testing because they would feel too bad but honestly its better than anything just flatly being tested on you and then you die and cant sue anybody for a faulty product because people didnt want them to test animals and they dont test on endangered species or anything they test on mostly pigs and they are plentyful and are bred for testing so that we arent making them go extint or anyhting so dont worry because unless its all the hippies iraqis and any other stupid people being tested on what their doing is the best thing possible for your health right now. i feel bad for them too but at leats they arent testing like puppies or anything like that.
I do not believe testing on animals is necessarily (although I don't want to get into it). I'll only say animal testing lies and we gamble every day with new medications that come on the market. People die all the time because a product that showed great results on animals caused terrible effects on people(ex-remember Fen Phen? )
I cannot imagine that these animals are loved. Researchers have to detach themselves from the animals in order to do the painful and torturous tests on them. I can't imagine a scientist injecting/burning/vivisecting/... any animal that they had any affection for.
i'll never be alright when animals get tested on
