Anyone ever care for an injured Gerbil?

Is there any medication or treatment I can do to help her heal quicker. It seems like she can't move her left leg at all. She's only 1 month old.
Answers:
well since gerbil are small there isnt much out there for them call the vet and see if there is anything or you might just have to let it heal on its own if it doesnt get better and you cant do anythign bout it i would put it to sleep so that it is not suffering
For heaven's sakes, call the veterinarian right this instant!! For such a young animal, serious problems can escalate quickly... and a paralyzed leg sounds pretty serious to begin with.
Get a syringe and special gerbil mix (a powder you can stir into warm water) which you can feed her to ensure she's getting optimum nutrition, especially if she becomes weak or stops eating. Make sure she stays hydrated (skin should snap back into place quickly if you gently pull on her scruff). If she makes a turn for the worse and you have absolutely no means to rush her to veterinary care, gently feed her sugar water through a syringe or eye-dropper. Check to make sure she maintains normal body temperature at all times and hold her to your skin or buy a heating pad (the kind sold for reptiles) if she feels cold.
None of this helps if she has a broken leg or needs prescription medication, though.
A trained professional is her best shot.
