Are dogs scared of cats?

are they
Answers:
It depends on the individual dog (and cat). I have an 85 lb dog who generally gets along well with cats, but he is terrified of one particular cat that always lunges and spits at him.
Some dogs are, especially if they've never seen them before. Others will want to chase them. It all depends on your dog's personality and past history.
It all depends. Certain breeds, such as Bernese Mountain Dog, or poodle do not go well with cats. Also, some breeds DO go well with cats. Do some reasearch on YOUR dog.
usually dogs r not scared of cats unless a certain cat really hurts them, ussually the can is scared of the dog but if u put a puppy and a kitten together wen they r still young the dog will learn to get along with cats better and the same thing will happen with the cat
If they have ever had their nose opened up they are!
Depends on the dog. I have seen small dogs run from cats. My cat beat up a rat terrior once and the little dog has been scared of cats ever since. I am not sure about large dogs though, but I am sure its possible. Life experiences can make them fear full of happy to be near cats.
Some dogs can be, but it's mostly the cats who are frightened of the dog. Some cats are brave and can stand up to a dog as they'd like. It, also, depends on the breed of dog, as well. Some large dogs tend to run away from cats and some cats tend to run away from dog breeds that are smaller than the cat's size, but personally and truthfully, this is their natural instinct. Basically, it always depends on the cat's temper and breed and the dog's size, breed, and behavior.
