Are daffodils poisonous to horses?


Answers:
The bulbs if eaten is toxic to horses in large quantities. Signs of daffodil poisoning is bloody feces, walking unevenly, like staggering almost but not falling down. Jaundice can occur and they can cause death. A well fed horse, however rarely will purposely eat poisonous plants. Starving ones will.
Not that I know of.I have seen horses rolling around in daffodils(at school trips to farms.).
Yes they are poisonous if consuming enough of it. Basicaly they would have to live in a dandelion field with nothing but. Horses will munch on them but prefer grass and thats why they are rarely at risk of eating to many.
