Black widows?

so i have these two black widows that i caught and keep as pets. one of the spiders had an egg some how and i was wondering did the two widows have sex or something because i mean theyre both females ight. howd it get pregnant? an got any names for the babies?
Answers:
Those are probably two female black widows and they would have red hourglasses. Spiders, like many other animals can store sperm in there bodies and continue to produce eggsacs until the end of there life.
No, they both didn't have sex. In fact, the male black widows looks NOTHING like the female. Some people may even think they are two different species! The male is much smaller and not poisonous at all.
From experience, female black widows are protective of there egg sacs and will usually come after you if you go near them. Also, you don't want to get bit by one. There is great pain involved depending on whether its a dry bite or a wet bite, determined by amount of venom left in its glands.
May be it's a reproduction by parthenogenesis ?
Call the babies "las pequeċ¸½as viudas"
Wow... I dunno what to tell u, but when those baby spiders hatch... no matter how small you made those airholes for them to breathe thru the lid, the babies are very small and are gonna get out. I hope u are not keeping them in the house. Your best bet is to take the jar far out in the woods somewhere and leave it, opened. The spiders will be OK, really. You really really really don't want an infestation of black widows near or especially in your house. I know when I used to work at the zoo, there was a herpetologist who found one in his backyard. He kept it in a jar, but when it laid eggsacks (she was probably pregnant when he caught her, like yours) he had to cover all the airholes with tape (cause ya can't have black widows infesting a zoo where customers %26 kids run around all day)! They lived even though the holes were covered with tape, but there was no way to get food into the jar without letting some loose. Good luck. I would rather see ya let 'em go then cover the holes.
uhh wow... weird. maybe its something like self reproduction... or some other spider snuck in for a one night stand and left her lol.
Princess Leia is right...listen to her! My ex-husband did the same thing and wouldn't listen to me. Eggs hatched and they were in the apartment with us...needless to say my daughter and I left!!
