there was a baby rabbits nest in my backyard and my sisters scared of fthe babys... will the mother wait for them to come back.will they even come back? and will the mother have babys in the same spot later?
Answers:
Mother bunnies ONLY feed their babies once or twice in a 24 hour period when NO ONE is around. The rest of the time she stays away from the nest to protect her babies safety. As long as the kits (baby bunnies) have plump tummies they are fine and you should leave them alone.
they may or may not come back. if human hands touched the nest i doubt any of them return. the babies will before the mother would. she will not nest in the same place two times.
doubt it if they arent weaned yet they wont survive
