Baby rabbits?

I was cleaning my pool filter and I saw a rabbit and it ran off and then I saw 4 baby bunny rabbits. The mom ran about 35 feet away and was watching me and I just touched one barely so it would move. Do you think she will abandon the baby rabbits?
Answers:
Leave the babies alone! The mother will come back. Mother rabbits rarely stay right with the babies because they are a prey animal. They are often away from the babies, so that if a predator should be around, it will go for the mother and not find the babies. Do not mess with the babies, or try to move the nest. She will return and care for them. One touch from you shouldn't deter her.
I..think so.
No, it will come back to look for them. Don't worry about it. Try giving the babies some carrots, and celery. Don't keep it though. Good luck!

they are very cute and soft
As long as you didn't pick it up and snuggle it for a long time, they will be o.k.. Also, if the babies were big enough they were running around and about 4 inches long all huddled up, they are old enough to pretty well survive on their own. One last thing, if you noticed a white spot on the top of the head, they are young and probably still nursing a little. If their was no white spot or one barely visible, they are definitely doing great without mom. Don't worry!!
Do NOT give the babies celery or carrots. Dont even go back near them! You shouldnt have touched them in the first place. The mother will most likey go back, if you just touched them once and if you do NOT touch them again. Just keep your distance from them. If you feel that the mother isnt coming back, then wait it out and if she doesnt come back within a week then call a rabbit rescue. And Dont disturb the nest. If you have dogs, then dont let them loose in the backyard, just keep them on leashes at a safe distance away from the babies.
